Ugly Glass & Company isn't what you'd expect — and that's exactly the point. Tucked into a 100+ year old warehouse in Kansas City's Historic West Bottoms, this one-of-a-kind shop is home to over 40 local makers, artists, and vintage pickers spanning more than 10,000 square feet of handmade and vintage home décor, records, clothing, man cave finds, and so much more.

It all started in July 2012, when Jenny and Skip Alexander answered opportunity's knock and opened their doors on the Historic Independence, Missouri Square — a charming 700 sq ft storefront featuring 20 local makers and artists. Two years later, they outgrew their beginnings and moved into the sprawling West Bottoms warehouse they call home today.

Whether you're hunting for a statement piece, a one-of-a-kind gift, or just a great afternoon of browsing, Ugly Glass & Company is where creativity, craftsmanship, and a little bit of weird come together beautifully.

 

Co-Owner, Skip, creates his own line of marbles and glass pendants at the store.  His eyeball pendants are world famous!

Owner, Jenny, is a multi-passionate creator who makes her own line of jewelry as well as refinishes furniture and vintage decor.  She also has a line of cursy/sassy screen printed goods you can find exclusively in the shop.
