MRS Pallet Decor LLC

Meet Meggan, the boss babe behind MRS Pallet Decor LLC
We did this interview with Meggan back in 2020.  Her business has grown so much and we are so proud she still calls Ugly Glass & Co. home!
Now on with the interview...
J - "Tell me how you got started.  What sparked that flame in you?"
M - "My husband and I decided to build a patio and retaining wall for our home. The stones came on pallets and at that moment, I decided I wanted to make something with the pallets! Being I had no idea how to use power tools, there was a slight setback. Hubby taught me how to use them and I've been building since then! It's been almost 3 years since I started MRS."
J - "What is your favorite thing to find/create?"
M - "I love making custom signage. It's also fun to repurpose items for new ones! I make door hangers with cheesebox lids, for instance."
J - "If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?"
M - "I would be a stay at home mama with no hobby. Ha! Prior to venturing out in the business owner gig I was a stay at home mom. I have three young girls! My youngest was 1 when I got started. Out of college in 2004 I had my insurance license and worked at a small brokerage for about 10 years!"
J - "Tell us about your family and where you grew up."
M - "I live in Lenexa with my three girls and hubby of 13 years. Our girls are 10, 7, and 4. I grew up here in Lenexa. My parents still live in my childhood home and live 100 yards from me!"
J - "What is your favorite thing about Kansas City?"
M - "My favorite thing about Kansas City is the amazing makers and the support they provide to each other. I love that about our city. I love that we are a big/little town."
J - "How can our readers find you online?"
M- "I am on Facebook and Instagram!"
