Having your own small business is like having a secret superpower. When I asked Christy what they love most about it, they said, "I receive a great amount of happiness when others find joy in the things I create. I am often surprised that other people like the things I make." It's a beautiful feeling when your passion brings smiles to people's faces.
From Nurse to Creative Extraordinaire
Believe it or not, Christy’s journey to becoming a small business owner started from a completely different path. For over 25 years, she worked as a nurse, dedicating her time and energy to caring for others. Two years ago, she left a demanding position and opted for a part position that allows her to pursue her creativity and all the other things.
Who's in her crew?
Christy is a proud parent of three amazing children. And then there's the “beautiful dog”. LOL. This furry bundle of joy is like another child to her! I bet she spoils him with so much love, treats, and belly rubs. We all know how it is!
Oh, and let’s not forget the husband! She has been happily married for 20 years! He puts up with all of her creating and plant propagation; she has developed quite the green thumb in the last 5 years! From what I hear, she’s lost count now, but at last count, it was over 50! He is a keeper!
